Planet Age Calculator

Your age measured in trips around the Sun by each planet. Inputs are dates; the unit for every planet is one of that planet's orbits, given in Earth days.

Before you start

Method : exact days lived ÷ NASA sidereal orbital period in Earth days.

Checked : tested with 10,000-day and year-boundary cases.

Review : not independently reviewed by an expert or by the organisation whose rules are used.

How to Use This Calculator

  1. Enter your birth date (1900 or later).
  2. Change the "calculate on" date if needed.
  3. Press Calculate.

Methodology & assumptions

Days lived = whole calendar days from birth to the calculate-on date (no time zones). Planet years = days ÷ sidereal period in days. Next planet birthday = birth date + ⌈(completed planet years + 1) × period⌉ days.

Worked examples

10,000 days old: Mercury 113.68, Mars 14.56, Jupiter 2.31 orbits.

Born 1 Jan 2000, on 1 Jan 2026 (9,497 days): Earth 26.00 orbits, Mars 13.82, Saturn 0.88.

Understanding your result

A fun unit conversion; it has no bearing on biology or legal age.
