Social Connection Reflection

Six statements to reflect on your social connections. It replaces an earlier "social age" that mapped a score onto ages 18–70 with no basis. Introverts with a few close ties can be just as well connected as people with large networks.

Before you start

Method : Social connection reflection: each statement counts Yes = 2, Partly = 1, Not yet = 0 (unanswered = Not yet). The total is a count of topics you have covered — not a social age, not a diagnosis.

Checked : custom checklist written by this site; not a validated questionnaire, not a diagnosis and not a prediction.

Review : not independently reviewed by an expert or by the organisation whose rules are used.

Social connection reflection

There are people I could call if I needed help.

I'm in touch with friends or family most weeks.

I'm satisfied with how much social contact I have (more or less is fine).

I take part in at least one group, club, faith or community activity.

I sometimes reach out first rather than waiting to be contacted.

When a disagreement comes up with someone close, we can usually talk it through.
